What this site is
GarageDoorNear is a referral service for garage door installation and replacement only. We publish information about door types, insulation, openers, and cost factors, and we connect callers with an independent local provider who can quote and carry out the job.
We are not a contractor. We do not install doors. We do not arrange repair work. We do not offer emergency service.
Information on this site
The information on this site is general information only. It is not professional advice. It is not advice about permits, zoning, building rules, HOA rules, or the condition of your home or garage.
Use the information to ask better questions and to compare quotes on the same scope. For advice about your specific opening, home, or local rules, ask the connected provider and your city permit office.
Your agreement is with the provider
Any work is agreed directly between you, the caller, and the independent provider. GarageDoorNear is not a party to that agreement.
The provider gives you the scope and the price in writing. You decide whether to accept it. The terms for the work, including schedule, warranty, and follow up, are the provider terms, not GarageDoorNear terms. Get those terms in writing from the provider before work starts.
What we are not responsible for
GarageDoorNear is not responsible for a provider's work, pricing, or licensing. We are not responsible for the quality of the installation, the schedule, or the follow up after the job.
When a provider is connected to you, judge that provider on its own record. Ask for its business name, its quote in writing, and its terms. Ask how it handles permits and inspections in your city. Ask what warranty, if any, applies to the door and to the labor.
Privacy
See the privacy policy for what we collect when you contact us, how we use it for a referral, and what we share with the connected provider.
How to reach us
Use the contact page for questions about this site, about a page, or about how a referral works. For a quote, a schedule, or work on your door, the connected provider is the right contact once a referral is made.
